How You Can Help

There is still much to do! The McCormack Foundation relies on donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations to be able to pursue our mission. We invite you to support our efforts to improve healthcare and the standard of living for the poorest sectors of the population in Panama.

Donations of medical supplies (in the Western Pennsylvania area) can be arranged by contacting us at the address below or by email at

Items most needed for our June and September 2020 containers:

Breast Prostheses and prosthetic bras

Prosthetic arms and legs

Hearing aids

Braces (leg, arm wrist, ankle)

Crutches and walkers

Wheelchairs (non electric)

Home  hospital beds with plastic mattress

Nebulizers, oxygen generators

“Blue pads” (absorbent bed pads) Adult diapers (opened packages ok)

School supplies (crayons, pencils, coloring books, tablets, backpacks)


Baby blankets

This year we are not collecting:  potty or shower chairs, bicycles, medicine, expired items, clothing, or household items.   We are no longer accepting wigs.

The Thomas L. and Linda J. McCormack Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 charity. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

None of Tom’s travel or living expenses are covered by foundation funds.  Sponsorship of administrative and overhead expenses and an all-volunteer staff means that 100% of your contribution is used to help people in need.
