PROGRAMS
BREAST PROSTHESIS PROGRAM:
We offer external breast prostheses, wigs, etc., free of charge, to women who have experienced breast cancer.
Cooperating agencies include the American Cancer Society and the Breast Cancer Center of Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The program has the support of the United States Embassy People to People coordinator, Mrs. Emily K. Boland, other non-government organizations (NGO'S) such as FundaCancer Panama, Oncologicol Hospital in Panama City, and the doctors and nurses who have personal relationships with breast cancer victims in public or private hospitals.
MEDICAL EQUIPMENT DONATIONS
The foundation works to improve the quality of life of people with limited economic resources by providing medical equipment free of charge to public hospitals, public health clinics, children’s homes, nursing homes, and private individuals. Medical equipment donated includes hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, and potty chairs. We work closely with Senadis (Office of Disabled People in Panama.)
NGO´s such as the Rotarian Club of Boquete and the Pink Ladies of David (volunteers in the Children’s and Women’s Hospital and in the social security hospital) have also benefited from our donations of medical equipment.
At the local level, medical supplies have been personally delivered to families in need, significantly changing their quality of life.

This taxi driver used to have to shift gears with his left hand. The donated arm prosthesis was a perfect fit; he now can use his right "hand" to shift.
CLOTHING DONATION PROGRAM.
